Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan today
Ivan Perisic scores UNREAL goal for Bayern Munich
Everton reportedly want to sign Ivan Perisic before the close of the transfer window tonight. Everton are yet to make any new signings in the January transfer window. However, Carlo Ancelotti wants that to change before the 11pm deadline.
Perisic has started 10 Serie A matches for Inter Milan this season since returning from his loan spell at Bayern Munich last term.
He has scored one goal and contributed two assists but has struggled for a regular spot under Antonio Conte.
Everton lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle on Saturday to put a dent in their chances of European qualification this season.
And Ancelotti looks to have acted quickly in attempting to bolster his squad.

Football Insider claim Ancelotti wants to bring in Perisic, with fellow winger Bernard set to leave the club on loan.
Bernard is linked with a move to Dubai-based club Al-Nasr after making just six Premier League appearances so far this season.
And Everton chiefs have identified Perisic as a replacement for the Brazilian.
Perisic has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United previously keen on the Croatian.

The 31-year-old has scored 26 goals in 96 caps for his country.
He was part of the Bayern side that won the Champions League and Bundesliga double last season.
Defeat to Newcastle on Saturday meant Everton dropped to eighth in the Premier League table, six points off the top four but with two games in hand.
Ancelotti gave a damning assessment of his team’s performance following Callum Wilson’s decisive double at Goodison Park.
“I think Newcastle won the game because they showed more fighting spirit on the pitch,” Ancelotti said.
“They showed more concentration, more motivation. They were the weapons we had when we won games – spirit, motivation, concentration and ambition.
“I think we forgot all this today at home. I don’t know why. But that was the reason, it was not a tactical or physical reason, it was a mental reason. The psychological aspect affected our performance.
“I am surprised. We had a good run until now. We are happy for what we have done.
“We cannot forget why we had a good run – because we showed good spirit on the pitch.
“Not because we had better quality. Of course, we have good quality in the squad, but without spirit, there is no quality.
“We were not focused. We gave 12 corners to them. We didn’t win duels, second balls. This is the game – not only showing the quality.”
