Europen Super League back on as Real Madrid and Barcelona renew breakaway bid
The European Super League has not yet been fully expunged with Real Madrid and Barcelona leading a renewed bid for a breakaway league.
Juventus are also on board with their proposed plans and the three giants are working behind closed doors to try and resurrect their failed proposal.
Elsewhere the Premier League 'big six' will return with a slapped wrist to the European Club Association ranks on Monday without their previously held ECA committee positions.
Now under the leadership of PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Association will meet without Juventus and the two La Liga giants in Geneva after the weekend.
Their absence is due to the fact Madrid president Florentino Perez, Barca president Joan Laporta and Juve chairman Andrea Agnelli are all still actively calling for a super league and have not yet given up hope of reviving the project.
The Sun report the Super League 'rebels' are working with a major PR company called Flint with the aim of breathing new life into their scheme.
Flint have created a presentation document titled: 'Paving the way to the Super League; strategies for reconstruction, the restart and the triumph.'
They claim the current system run by UEFA represents an 'abusive monopoly', and have promised their campaign will be 'bullet proof'.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus have not been reinstated to the Association due to their continual plotting for a Super League.
The trio are the only ones still yet to renounce the breakaway league; the other nine founding members quickly abandoned the concept following public backlash.
