Euro 2020 official team of the tournament only includes three England stars
UEFA has announced the official Euro 2020 team of the tournament, with only three England stars making the cut.
The Three Lions suffered penalty heartbreak in Sunday's final against Italy, missing out on a first ever European Championship after losing a nerve-wracking shootout.
Despite falling at the last hurdle, Gareth Southgate's men enjoyed an inspirational run to the final and gave the nation hope like never before.
But only three England players were named in the official Euro 2020 team of the tournament selected by their technical observer team, which is made up of 16 ex-players and former or current coaches.
Italy's shootout hero Gianluigi Donnarumma pipped Jordan Pickford to a place in between the sticks.
In a 4-3-3 setup, England duo Kyle Walker and Harry Maguire were included alongside Italy pair Leonardo Bonucci and Leonardo Spinazzola.
Another Azzurri star, Jorginho, made it into the midfield three along with Denmark's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Spain's Pedri.

Federico Chiesa is the fifth and final Italy player to be included in the side, getting the nod in attack with Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku and England winger Raheem Sterling.
Donnarumma scooped the Euro 2020 Player of the Tournament award, while Pedri received the Young Player of the Tournament prize.
The likes of Esteban Cambiasso, Robbie Keane, Steffen Freund, David Moyes and former England manager Fabio Capello are among those on UEFA's technical observer team.
England were beaten in Sunday's final despite taking the lead after just two minutes through Luke Shaw, with Leonardo Bonucci levelling for Italy late on.
