Erling Haaland’s teammate labels striker a ‘freak’ after seeing what he eats
Watford striker Josh King has called Erling Haaland a 'freak' due to the amount that he eats after spending time with him on international duty.
King and Haaland are both Norwegian and regularly meet up with the squad during international breaks, although this time around they couldn't help their nation qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Haaland has become one of the most talked about stars in world football and the 21-year-old is wanted by all of Europe's elite due to his extraordinary potential.
However, any potential suitors must make sure that they provide enough food after training, as Haaland reportedly eats like a "freak", according to King.
In a recent interview on Watford teammate Ben Foster's YouTube channel, King was asked about Haaland, and he said: "He's just a freak. I've never ever seen anyone eat as much as he does.
"He's bulking up. Yeah, he's shredded but I don't know, he just eats like a bear."
King's comments were all said in good taste, and the forward spoke highly of his Norwegian strike partner: "He's such a nice guy. Obviously in some interviews he came across like, but he's one of the nicest guys, down to earth. He's just a kid enjoying football."
Where will Erling Haaland move to next should he leave Borussia Dortmund? Let us know in the comments section…
Haaland has been linked with a move to the Premier League to follow in the footsteps of his father, who played for Leeds and Manchester City, and Foster pressed King for if he thought the Borussia Dortmund star would make his way over to England.
King revealed: "I do know, he loves Leeds. He loves Leeds yeah but I don't know if that will happen but we will see. I'd love to see him in the Premier League. I said that last summer.
"I said 'you need to come to the Premier League' and he loves the Prem, but he's still young so he's got time."
