The cousin of Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland has followed in his goal-scoring footsteps by netting on his debut for Norwegian giants Molde.
17-year-old striker Albert Braut Tjaland scored in stoppage time of his side's 4-1 Norwegian Cup victory over fourth division outfit Spjelkavik IL.
Haaland also scored in the competition in his Molde debut and Tjaland has mirrored his career so far after moving to the club from their hometown side of Bryne, where he had an exceptional record in front of goal.
Tjaland scored 40 goals in 31 games for the youth side at Bryne in the 2019/20 season to earn the move to the four-time champions of Norway.
This was followed by 64 goals in 37 youth games in his first season with Molde, as rumours of a move away start to circulate with Galatasary rumoured to be taking an interest in the teenager.
Tjaland took his goal well as the game entered the closing stages, latching onto a defensive error to slot the ball into the bottom corner beyond a helpless goalkeeper.
Will Albert Braut Tjaland follow in the footsteps of his cousin Erling Haaland? Let us know in the comments section below.
Having scored on his debut, older cousin Haaland went on to bag 20 goals in 50 appearances for the Molde first team before sealing a £7million move to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in January 2019.
29 goals in 27 games followed in Austria as Haaland began to catch the eye of some of Europe's biggest clubs, moving to Borussia Dortmund after just one year with Salzburg.
Since arriving in Germany in Janaury of last year, Haaland has scored 57 goals for BVB in 59 games and is now being linked with a host of clubs including Chelsea and Manchester City.
If Tjaland continues to develop in a similar vein to Haaland then the Norway national team could have one of the most prolific strike forces in world football in a couple of years time.
