Erling Haaland has heaped praise on PSG star Kylian Mbappe – with the pair set to dominate world football in years to come.
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s ongoing battle coming to an end, football fans are expecting Haaland and Mbappe to takeover.
Speaking to Canal Plus, the Manchester City forward spoke incredibly positively on the ‘phenomenal’ PSG star.
Haaland said: ‘There are so many good players and Kylian is one of them. He is so strong! The French are so lucky that he plays for France.
‘I would like him to play for Norway obviously, but it’s not the case. But yes, he’s an incredible player.’

The Norway international was also in awe that Mbappe is still only 24 years old – despite all he has achieved in football.
‘He’s so fast, so strong and he’s been doing it for so many years. What is he? Two years older than me? It’s crazy!
‘Sometimes you have to tell yourself that he still has ten years of playing at the top level. He is phenomenal.’
The France forward already has a remarkable footballing CV and is now the joint all-time top scorer for PSG – level with Edinson Cavani.
Mbappe scored a brace against Marseille netting goals 199 and 200 – an incredible return for the player who only joined in 2018.
The 24-year-old will be sure to have the record all to himself in PSG’s upcoming games.

Mbappe has 12 goals in 14 World Cup games and is fast approaching Miroslav Klose’s record
As well as dominating at club level, Mbappe has performed incredibly on the international scene – with one World Cup and one World Cup golden boot to his name.
The forward has 12 goals in just 14 World Cup games and is fast approaching Miroslav Klose’s record of 16 goals.
Mbappe even managed to score a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final – despite being on the losing side.
If Haaland’s assessment is correct, the France star will have plenty of time to break this record, and many more, before he hangs up his boots.
