Enner Valencia has been spotted donating vital emergency relief supplies to Turkish citizens in the wake of the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that has affected parts of the country and neighbouring Syria.
The Ecuador World Cup hero has continued to make a difference off the field, and was seen giving up items such as mattresses and tents at a supermarket in Turkey, according to BBO Sports.
Valencia plays his club football at Fenerbahce, and is one of a number of the game’s stars currently living in the country, which has recently seen a state of emergency declared.
Former Chelsea and Newcastle star Christian Atsu had been missing after the earthquake first hit Turkey, and was rescued early on Tuesday morning after his voice was heard from beneath a pile of rubble.
He was seen in a local supermarket with a trolley laden with much-needed emergency relief supplies, with pictures posted by BBO Sports on Twitter.

The striker has also changed his Twitter picture to an image of the Turkish flag to show his solidarity to the country that has been so affected by the disaster, and where he has lived for over two years.
The 33-year-old joined Fenerbahce from Mexican outfit Tigres in 2020, and has quickly endeared himself to the Turkish fanbase.
The former West Ham and Everton striker returned to prominence for English fans during the World Cup in Qatar, in which he scored three times or his side in as many games before their group stage exit.
He has an excellent record on the pitch, with 49 goals and 14 assists from 98 appearances.
But it will perhaps be his actions over the last 48 hours that will ensure his memory lives long in the heart of the club’s fans, having selflessly lent his support to the public in their hour of need.
Valencia also posted a graphic on his Twitter account listing several helplines and phone numbers for the Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The list included 10 different provincial numbers that victims and others affected by the natural disaster can call for AFAD support or aid.
Up to 20,000 people are believed to have been killed and thousands more injured after the catastrophic earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria overnight on Monday, flattening neighbourhoods while families were asleep.
Valencia also tweeted a list of provincial emergency helplines that victims of the earthquake could call
Tremors from the deadly quake were felt as far away Egypt, Lebanon and the island of Cyprus – and a tsunami warning was briefly issued by authorities in Italy along the country’s coastline
