England face Ukraine in what is likely to be an emotional Euro 2024 qualifier at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening. The Three Lions are hoping to make it two wins from two to begin their quest to head to Germany in 2024.
Gareth Southgate’s side defeated reigning tournament champions Italy on Thursday to kick off their qualifying campaign in the best possible way. They now face a difficult test against a strong Ukraine side.
It could be an emotion-charged evening at Wembley. There are likely to be tributes to those who have lost their lives and those who continue to face hardship following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

England host Ukraine at Wembley with a kick-off of 17:00 BST. The Euro 2024 Group C qualifier will be broadcast free-to-air in the UK on Channel 4. Coverage will begin at 4pm.
Last year, Channel 4 surprisingly fought off competition from ITV and Sky to broadcast England’s Euro 2024 qualifiers and two friendlies in 2023. Jules Breach will present the programme, with former England internationals Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole and Jill Scott providing punditry.
Steve Bower is on commentary duty. Kelly Somers will be Channel 4’s pitchside reporter.

Team news
Wide-ranging reports suggest that Southgate is set to hand a full England debut to James Maddison. The Leicester playmaker’s international career has so far been limited to a brief substitute appearance in 2019.
Maddison could replace Jack Grealish on the left of England’s front three. Although Southgate seems unlikely to make too many changes to the team that did so well in Italy.
Two players who will not feature are Reece James and Luke Shaw. James has been sent back to Chelsea as a precaution over a minor hamstring problem, while Shaw is suspended having been sent off late on against Italy. Ben Chilwell could start at left-back.
