England face off against the Czech Republic tonight. And reports say Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish are primed to be snubbed by Gareth Southgate, who intends to go for his favoured front three of Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Phil Foden instead. The Three Lions enter the contest already through to the knockout stages of the competition following results involving Ukraine and Finland on Monday night.
England have endured a mixed start to their Euro 2020 campaign.
The Three Lions won 1-0 against Croatia in their opening game, with Sterling scoring the only goal of the game at Wembley.
But England were poor against Scotland last time out, slumping to a disappointing goalless draw on home soil.
Now, Southgate’s side face off with the Czech Republic knowing victory would see them top the group.
And The Mirror say Sancho and Grealish are primed to be snubbed again, with the 50-year-old intending to go for Sterling, Kane and Foden up top instead.
Both players enjoyed terrific campaigns at Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa respectively, winning plaudits with their goals and assists record.

But they’re still to start at Euro 2020 and, despite the Three Lions already being through to the next stage of the tournament, it seems like they’ll have to wait a little longer.
While Mason Mount is isolating after coming into close contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour, it’s Jude Bellingham who will supposedly start instead.
And that will disappoint supporters who had hoped to see Grealish start, especially given his status as one of the team’s most entertaining players.
Regarding Sancho, the forward appears to be closing in on a move to Manchester United.
But Southgate, speaking recently, insisted he would be careful about how to use the 21-year-old – citing his lack of experience at major tournaments as a factor behind his stance.
“We’ve got some explosive options and a lot of them are young players and experiencing a big tournament for the first time,” he said after the Scotland game.
“So as a coaching staff we are realistic about our expectations of them as individuals.
“Jadon is in that mix. He’s trained well the last few days and of course we have got those options and those decisions to make.”
Jose Mourinho feels England should let the shackles off against Czech Republic tonight by playing Grealish – who he believes is just like Luis Figo.
“England look like a shy team, so they need Jack Grealish against the Czech Republic tonight,” he told The Sun.
“He looks like he has always been on that stage.
“The guy is brave. The guy never played a European match for his club but he arrives in the national team and is fearless.
“He risks. He gambles. He loses the ball. He creates. He kicks people. People kick him. He creates instability in opponents.
“And he wins free-kicks.
“You win free-kicks in wide areas then you go with Harry Maguire or Tyrone Mings or John Stones and Harry Kane — and England are powerful on set-pieces.
“England looked a shy team against Scotland because they were a team without that thing that Grealish has.
“I don’t like comparing players — and Luis Figo was at a different level — but Grealish is like Figo in that he’ll demand the ball.
“He says, ‘Give me the ball and I will resolve this!’
“Grealish didn’t play amazingly when he came on against Scotland but how many times did he have the ball? How many fouls did they commit on him? How many one-against-ones did he create? England need these qualities.
“If you start with Grealish and you have a striker like Harry Kane, you also want a runner to attack spaces — so you need either Raheem Sterling or Marcus Rashford.
“Sometimes with City, Sterling is so wide he is talking to the linesman. Then suddenly the space is there and ‘boom’ the run is made.”
