England manager Gareth Southgate has named his latest squad ahead of October’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary. AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has earned his maiden call-up, whilst Southgate has snubbed Arsenal duo Ben White and Emile Smith Rowe.

England are comfortably at the summit of Group I in UEFA qualifying after accumulating 16 points from six games.

The Three Lions had a 100 per cent record before conceding a disappointing stoppage-time equaliser in Poland last time out.

Southgate will want his side to bounce back with two strong performances in October, first in Andorra on October 9.

England then host Hungary at Wembley Stadium on October 12, where they will hope to replicate the impressive 4-0 triumph in Budapest earlier this month.

The latest England squad in full…

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale, Sam Johnstone

Defenders: Kyle Walker, Reece James, John Stones, Tyrone Mings, Conor Coady, Fikayo Tomori, Luke Shaw, Kieran Trippier

Midfielders: Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips, Jordan Henderson, Mason Mount, Jesse Lingard

Forwards: Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka, Harry Kane, Ollie Watkins
