England keeper Ellie Roebuck had Ederson’s help before making Euro 2022
Ellie Roebuck is living the dream: she's part of England's squad for Euro 2022, on home soil, and Sarina Wiegman's side are playing with the confidence of champions in waiting.
However, Roebuck is still waiting for her first appearance at her home tournament. The Manchester City shot-stopper has been forced to play second fiddle to Mary Earps, who has started all three group games.
Earps, who plays for Roebuck's rivals Manchester United, is yet to pick the ball out of her net at Euro 2022. But that hasn't stopped Roebuck from dreaming of an appearance, and in the past, she has even sought help from Ederson.

In 2019, City's then first-choice keeper Karen Bardsley said: "Yeah [Ederson has given her advice] we train outside in the same area.
"Their goalkeeper coach Xavi [Mancisidor] is always coming across and contributing, giving us ideas. So it's a really good working relationship and that reflects well on the club in general."
When asked what Ederson had said, Bardsley replied: "It's more in passing. We see them train and we walk around. It's just the environment itself, it's more just natural. But I think that's what's really special about the club."
