England 0-0 Spain: Lionesses fail to make their chances count as Sarina Weigman’s side are held to a draw in Arnold Cup clash at Carrow Road

  • England were held to a 1-1 draw with Spain in their Arnold Cup clash on Sunday 
  • Lauren Hemp came close for Lionesses after rattling the crossbar with an effort 
  • Sarina Weigman’s side have failed to win in either of their two games so far

England Women had to settle for a 0-0 draw in their second Arnold Clark Cup fixture against Spain at Carrow Road.

In what was a tense affair, Lauren Hemp came closest for the Lionesses after her effort shortly after half-time rattled against the crossbar.

The Lionesses had won all six of their previous games under Wiegman, prior to their recent 1-1 draw with Canada in the fixture before this.
