Manchester United Edinson Cavani consoled a crying fan as she approached him outside of Old Trafford on Monday night.
Cavani who is out of contract at United this summer, heard the little girl Lola say "don't leave," as the pair met for the first time. The 35-year-old striker came on in the 75th minute in United's 3-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League.
A heartwarming video shared by football presenter Alison Bender on social media on Monday night showed 'Miss Kick' football captain and United fan Lola's dream came true. At first, she was scared Cavani wouldn't live up to her expectations before meeting him but she was quickly proved wrong.
In the end, the striker answered one of Lola's wishes, as he wore her 'Miss Kick' hairband for a photo and, as a result, she got emotional and began to hug the player.
The footage quickly went viral on social media, with United fans praising Cavani for taking the time with the youngster. One fan posted: "That's brilliant, so pleased for her & a memory that will last forever. Love it."
Another then wrote: "That's what it's all about 100% meeting her idol! He seems a real nice bloke and this kid will never ever forget this moment." A third added: "Underrated, what a professional."

The striker has not had the success at the club he would have perhaps wished for, being restricted to game time since his arrival in 2020 from French giants Paris Saint-Germain. In his two-year spell in Manchester he has made just under 60 outings, and so far this season he has scored just twice and assisted once in 13 league appearances.
Cavani's contract will be up at the end of the season and it is expected he will depart the club on a free transfer. A move to Spain has been speculated, as has a move to Boca Juniors.
