Drake wins over £11m on latest bet while wearing Thierry Henry Arsenal shirt

Drake made up for his £533,000 loss at the weekend by landing an £11million win on roulette – all while wearing an Arsenal shirt with Thierry Henry's name on the back.

The Gunners certainly knew how to win when Henry was at the club, twice collecting the Premier League title alongside two FA Cup triumphs and a pair of Community Shields. Drake must have wanted to channel some of that winning energy at the roulette tables – and it worked an absolute treat.

Wearing the iconic 2005-06 Arsenal shirt with Henry's name and number on the back from their last season at Highbury, the Canadian rapper struck it big with a $12,240,000 (£10.8million) win.

The 35-year-old celebrated wildly with his pals as the colossal number flashed up on the screen, shouting: "Well overdue, by the way."

Drake posted the win on his official Twitch channel "stakedrake," and it wasn't long before the footage found its way to Arsenal fans on social media.

"You can't go wrong with Arsenal man," wrote one. As another said: "Heritage club." A third person added: "It's This Arsenal jersey for me. Man, f***ing Love It."

Someone else commented: "So Drake is hell bent on making sure Arsenal suffer the 'Drake Curse?'" While a fifth user joined in with: "Man is special."

The huge win marked a change in fortune for the rapper, who lost CA$833,333,85 (£533k) in Bitcoin on a football bet gone wrong at the weekend.

Drake backed Arsenal to beat Leeds in the Premier League and Barcelona to outclass Real Madrid in El Clasico. The Gunners held up their end of the bargain, edging past the Whites 1-0 courtesy of Bukayo Saka's goal.

But Robert Lewandowski and co. couldn't oblige in Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti's side ran out 3-1 winners. Having captioned the betslip "this morning should be fun," it ended up proving anything but for the star.
