Declan Rice to Chelsea: David Moyes makes transfer revelation which will interest Man Utd
England: Declan Rice and Ben Chilwell show skills in training
David Moyes insists there has been no contact from either Chelsea or Manchester United for West Ham star Declan Rice. The 22-year-old has been a long-time transfer target for Chelsea as they look to re-sign a player they released at the age of 14.
And there have been reports Man Utd have also entered the race to sign Rice, who it is believed would cost in excess of £70 million.
However, Moyes has stated there have been no offers for the man who has captained the Hammers in the majority of games this season and has played every minute of the Premier League campaign.
“They’re not true, we’ve had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn’t want any anyway,’ Moyes told Amazon Prime on Saturday night.

“He’s doing great for us, he’s a big leader now, he’s taken a lot of the weight off Mark Noble.
“He’s turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club.”
Rice has proven not only for West Ham but for England to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and is also capable of playing at centre-back.

West Ham fans will be desperate to keep the academy graduate but his sale looks like to at least triple the record fee they have received for a departure, with the previous being the £25m recouped when Dimitri Payet joined Marseille in January 2017.
Moyes has stressed the club do not need to let Rice go to fund new signings though, with the club having already recouped around £22.5m with the sale of Sebastien Haller earlier this month.
“We’ve already made big enquiries and offers for players with clubs,” Moyes told reporters. “They’ve obviously not been accepted otherwise I would have someone.
“It is not as if we’re not trying to do that, we have tried. I need to try and get players who I think would make a difference and I want it to be something which I think can help us.
“If I don’t I might need to look short term, just to get me through to give me another player but if not then I’ll use the young players or I’ll have to try and find us a centre-forward from someone else in the squad.
“If Mick (Michail Antonio) can regain his real form and where he has been in recent months that would be the big thing for us. He is getting closer, another 90 minutes and a goal [against Burnley]. It is what we have really missed so we’re glad to have him back.”
