David Moyes feels his job as West Ham manager is secure despite a poor run in the league which has seen the team slip to two points above the relegation zone.
The Hammers produced a much-improved display against Leicester compared to the one which saw them booed off after a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace last week.
But a third home loss in the space of a week earned Moyes and his players another chorus of boos at full-time.

While Moyes accepts he must find an answer to the team’s lack of goals, he feels the work he has done across nearly three years in charge has earned him the right to feel secure about his job.
‘I’m really grateful to our club for the support they have given me,’ the Scot said. ‘But I’d also like to say I think I’ve done not bad for them. Overall we’ve done a lot of good things but we can’t find a way of scoring goals at the moment.’
Moyes and the West Ham board had hoped Gianluca Scamacca would be the man to provide the solution. The Hammers paid £35.5million for the Italian striker in the summer but after a promising start he is now seven games without a goal.

The manager urged supporters to be patient with Scamacca and other new signings, saying it would take time for them to adjust to life in English football.
‘We brought in good players and quite often those players take time to settle in, especially the boys from overseas.
‘I think we just need to give ours a little bit of time to settle in and not be expecting so much right away in the first season.’
