Crystal Palace are pushing to sign France U21 international striker Odsonne Edouard from Celtic.
The Eagles lodged an offer worth up to £15million at the weekend, as reported by Sportsmail, and want to try and get a deal done before tomorrow’s deadline.
The 23-year-old played in Sunday’s Old Firm derby and has just one year left on his contract.

Edouard is willing to see out his contract if he fails to get the move he wants but Celtic have been holding out for their £20m valuation as they owe a 40 percent sell-on to his previous club, Paris St Germain.
Edouard saw a move to Leicester City fall through earlier in the window as Celtic dug their heels in over their asking price.
Leicester moved on to sign Patson Daka and are looking to add Ademola Lookman from Red Bull Leipzig, another Palace target.
Palace have been trying to bring in three new players before the deadline with a forward and winger their priorities.
Edouard endured a frustrating afternoon as Celtic flopped 1-0 at Rangers in the Old Firm game
They had spoken to Arsenal about Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson but the latter is bound for Feyenoord and Nketiah is likely to stay.
They have also enquired about former Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga at Sassuolo and Orlando City forward Daryl Dike.
New boss Patrick Vieira has seen his side fail to score in three of their four matches so far this season.
On-loan Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher notched both of their goals in the 2-2 draw at West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.
