Peter Crouch slammed Tottenham players for ‘going missing’ during their shock Europa League defeat by Dinazmo Zagreb as the pundit questioned the direction of the club.
Spurs saw their 2-0 lead from the first leg eradicated in the second half after Mislav Orsic scored two brilliant goals to take the tie to extra-time. Orsic then grabbed his hat-trick to complete a sensational comeback.
Crouch said the Croatian side deserved their lead and criticised Jose Mourinho’s men for ‘hiding’ as they crashed out of the competition.

‘(It) felt like it was coming from first minute,’ said Crouch.
‘No impetus, no quick passing, Zagreb grew into the game, they were the better team.
‘They (Spurs) have not turned up in two games now, players gone missing, subs came on and then we saw players hiding, not tracking back, simple passes not made, no creativity, Zagreb the better side, disastrous, you wonder where season is going now.
