Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel after the Red Devils could only pick up a point at Newcastle on Monday. Edinson Cavani’s second-half equaliser gave United hope of grabbing all three points. But Ralf Rangnick’s side were unable to score again and Ronaldo was clearly not happy with the outcome.
He did not go over to the travelling fans following the match and was the first United player to head down the tunnel, according to The Athletic.
The Portugal international played the entire 90 minutes but barely had a sniff in front of goal.
Marcus Rashford and United interim boss Rangnick headed down the tunnel shortly after Ronaldo, with the majority of other players staying to applaud the away supporters.
Newcastle took an early lead at St James’ Park through a fine Allan Saint-Maximin strike.

The Magpies held onto their advantage until the 71st minute but could not prevent Cavani from poking home from close range at the second time of asking.
Newcastle will feel unfortunate to only come away with a point and remain second bottom in the Premier League.
United stay in seventh, seven points behind Arsenal in fourth but with two games in hand.
Rangnick is still yet to lose a match in charge of United since being appointed interim boss.

But United legend Gary Neville says the performance was far from what the German will have expected from his players.
Neville claimed the body language of some of the United team will be one of the things Rangnick will dislike.
Asked if the second-half display was better than the first, Neville said on Sky Sports: “I don’t know.
“I think Newcastle had major chances in the second half, more than they probably had in the first.
“I think probably because Manchester United had so many attacking players on the pitch. They had no defensive structure.
“That’s not what Ralf Rangnick’s come in to do at Manchester United – that was a mess really second half in terms of formation, style, everything. It was just desperation.
“[David de Gea] made a couple of great saves. Really worrying. Ralf Rangnick after Norwich when United won 1-0 said the body language was poor.
“I think there will be a lot that he hates about what he’s seen tonight. And I think he’ll really dislike that performance.”
