It didn't take long for Cristiano Ronaldo to get his Manchester United goal tally back up and running again.
The Portugal star, who returned to Old Trafford from Juventus earlier this summer, netted in the first half of his second debut.
Ronaldo initially left United in 2009, joining Real Madrid, but is now back and in the goals again.
The Portugal star was quickest to pounce after Freddie Woodman spilled the ball following a shot from Mason Greenwood.
Ronaldo ran to the corner to celebrate and produced his signature "SIUUUUU" routine as Old Trafford went crazy.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, former England star Chris Waddle said: "It is very harsh on Newcastle. They've been doing their job.
"The man we talked about is there, Ronaldo, he knows how to score goals. That is a gift."
Ronaldo made a shock return to the Premier League and was initially linked with a move to United's rivals Manchester City.
Though he made the switch to United and is donning his famous No. 7 shirt back at Old Trafford.
At 36, many believe Ronaldo is past his prime, though the man himself is determined to win more trophies.
