Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence following the dismissal of Al-Nassr manager Rudi Garcia.
The Saudi Arabian Pro League club sacked boss Garcia this week, announcing on Twitter that the Frenchman would be leaving the club with immediate effect.
Garcia was appointed in July last year and the former Marseille and Lyon coach had enjoyed a successful spell in charge, averaging 2.27 points per match and with the club currently second in the table.
However, after Sunday’s goalless draw with Al Feiha, Ronaldo stormed off the pitch shouting at his opponents that they ‘did not want to play’ and he and his teammates were later involved in a flare-up with the opposition players.
Reports then circulated that Garcia had lost the dressing room after a rift with the players, with claims that Ronaldo was unhappy with the club’s poor form and recent change in tactics.

Despite those reports, Ronaldo has had his say on Garcia’s departure from the club, posting a message to his former boss in the wake of his sacking.
With an image of the pair embraced in a handshake the 38-year-old said: ‘Pleasure to have worked with you. Wishing you all the best for the future.’
Sunday’s draw leaves Al-Nassr three points behind leaders Al-lttihad, with seven games remaining of the season.
The club move swiftly to appoint a successor to Garcia, promoting U19 coach Dinko Jelicic to head coach ahead of the derby with Al Hilal on Tuesday.

However, there is believed to be a plan for the club to look to appoint one of Europe’s elite bosses as their next manager, hoping that a huge financial package could tempt a big name into taking the job.
One of Ronaldo’s former managers have already been linked with the post, with Roma boss Jose Mourinho one of the names in the frame, along with Zinedine Zidane who is currently out of work.
Since moving to the Saudi side at the start of the year, Ronaldo has been made captain of the club and has scored 11 times in 12 games for the club.
