- Harry Maguire and Casemiro are among those Ronaldo has stayed in touch with
Cristiano Ronaldo has invited four of his former Manchester United team-mates to come out to Saudi Arabia to see Al-Nassr, according to a new report.
The Portuguese star left Old Trafford in acrimonious circumstances during the 2022 World Cup, which denied him the opportunity to say goodbye to his friends and colleagues in Manchester.
So he has been in touch with four of his closest acquaintances – Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Raphael Varane – to invite them to come and see him play for his new club.

The Portuguese star was unable to say proper goodbyes in Manchester before joining Al-Nassr
The Sun report that his closest friends are invited to join him on holiday, either in Saudi Arabia if their schedules permit it, or back in Portugal, where Ronaldo is in the process of building a large mansion in Lisbon.
Ronaldo left Man United in November after criticising the club’s ownership in a TV interview with Piers Morgan, and subsequently joined Al-Nassr in a deal worth £170m a year.
A Man United insider told the newspaper ‘there are still a few lads here who have nothing but respect for Ronny’.
After leaving player WhatsApp groups, the 37-year-old has reached out to some with the offer, with the insider revealing: ‘Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Raphael Varane are all mates.’

On his departure from the north of England, Ronaldo organised for his luxury cars to be moved to Portugal, where they will take up residence at his new place in Lisbon.
Al-Nassr’s next fixture sees Ronaldo’s team travelling to Al Fateh on Friday.
Meanwhile, his former Man United colleagues have consecutive home fixtures, first against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup in midweek, before facing Crystal Palace and then Leeds United in the Premier League.
