Cristiano Ronaldo's dream of lifting the World Cup is over after Portugal were dramatically dumped out of the tournament by Morocco.
Youssef En-Nesyri's Ronaldo-esque first-half header was the difference on the night with Morocco becoming the first African nation in history to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
Ronaldo started on the bench, but was brought on just five minutes into the second-half with his side chasing the game, though despite Portugal's dominance, he barely mustered a goalscoring chance.

The former Manchester United star headed straight down the tunnel when the full-time whistle blew and burst into tears.
Fan reaction on social media was fairly unsympathetic, with many claiming he "got what he deserved", though there were some offering the 37-year-old messages of support.
"Ronaldo has been such a trouble-maker over the last few months, he's got exactly what he deserves tonight. No sympathy from me," one fan tweeted.

Another agreed, writing: "Boohoo Cristiano, you'd have only hogged the spotlight if Portugal won the World Cup, despite the fact you were gonna spend the tournament on the bench."
"A lovely sight," added a third.
Others were more sympathetic though, with one person tweeting: "Feel sorry for the lad, why didn't Portugal start him?" Another wrote: "Ronaldo's World Cup dream didn't deserve to end this way. Shame on you Fernando Santos!"
