Barcelona want to offload Antoine Griezmann this summer and Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly offer his old rivals a helping hand in doing so. Ronaldo has scored 20 goals in his career against Barcelona but could offer the Nou Camp club a much-needed financial boost in this transfer window.
Griezmann’s time at Barca has not gone as he and the club would have planned.
The France international has been linked with a return to Atletico Madrid.
However, it remains to be seen if Atletico would be able to finance a deal to bring Griezmann back to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Barca are therefore looking for other potential suitors for the 30-year-old.

Spanish outlet Sport claims Barca think Juventus could pursue a deal for Griezmann.
Juventus could be tempted by a loan move with an option to buy.
However, that would only occur if Ronaldo ends up leaving Juve in this window.
Ronaldo has entered the final year of his contract in Turin and has been linked with both Paris Saint-Germain and former club Manchester United.

PSG could pursue Ronaldo, with the future of Kylian Mbappe currently up in the air.
Mbappe is also out of contract in 2022 and PSG chiefs are determined not to let him leave for nothing.
If Ronaldo were to leave, Barca think Juve would be interested in signing Griezmann.
Barca are keen to get Griezmann’s wages off their books, even if they do not receive a transfer fee in this window.

Barca would hope Griezmann has a successful loan spell and therefore persuade Juve, or other clubs, to want to sign him on a permanent basis.
Earlier this month, transfer expert Duncan Castles claimed the returning Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri would allow Ronaldo to leave in this window.
Speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window podcast, Castles said: “Juventus will not say this publicly, but they are prepared to let Cristiano Ronaldo leave this summer.
“The returning manager Max Allegri, again he won’t say this publicly, but he has now got control of transfers, that was one of the conditions he demanded in order to return to the club.
“Allegri knows that Juventus have serious financial problems, he wants to make significant changes to the squad.
“Allowing Cristiano Ronaldo to leave and opening that salary to work on with other players is a very appealing option to him.
“And if a deal can be structured that works for him, he’s prepared to go along with that.”
