Conte’s Tottenham tactics already clear as new boss screams at players in game
Tottenham Hotspur's new boss Antonio Conte has already lost his cool with his new side following Spurs' clash with Everton.
Conte watched over his first Premier League clash for his new side on Sunday with a 0-0 draw.
And the Italian was reportedly left fuming with his side players' inability to find Sergio Reguilon free on the left flank.
According to The Athletic, the 52-year-old was screaming at his new players to hit the ball over to the left-hand side.
Reguilon often found himself in space against the Toffee's, but the Spaniard's teammates rarely moved the ball out wide to the full-back.
Conte won the Premier League with Chelsea by championing a 3-4-3 system that brought the best out of the Blues' wing-backs.
The Italian used a similar system against the Toffee's with Emerson and Reguilon utilised as the all-important wing-backs.
Conte's use of three attackers forces the traditional back four to sit narrow, leaving space out wide for the onrushing wing-backs.
This innovative system has led to Conte's side regularly finding the net, and this is one of the reasons he was brought in at Spurs.
