Cleaner who had child with Premier League owner lands chunk of his £18m fortune
A cleaner who had a child with former Southampton owner Leon Crouch has reportedly landed a chunk of his £18million fortune.
Former Saints chief Crouch is understood to have fallen for Polish cleaner Barbara Jadrych ten years ago.
Jadrych had been working for Crouch with the pair having a daughter and living in. his £8.5million mansion.
The couple had been due to wed but three weeks before tying the knot, Crouch died of cancer at the age of 70.
The Sun report that Jadrych, now 39, issued a High Court writ saying he had promised to look after her financially.
And they add that Jadrych has won part of Crouch's £18million fortune though details of the settlement are confidential.
It's believed Jadrych moved out of the mansion in 2019 and has been living in a a £350,000 house nearby.
She is also working as a part-time dinner lady with the battle reportedly centring on Crouch's 2016 will.
A Sun source claims Jadrych had to take a test to prove Crouch was the father of her daughter, who is now aged eight.
Jadrych's lawyers said in court papers that she was owed “reasonable financial provision”, which could run into millions.
Crouch was a lifelong fan of Southampton and purchased a stake in the club in 2006.
He was appointed as chairman until 2008 and personally paid for the replacement of the statue of Saints legend Ted Bates, which now sits outside St Mary's.
Daily Star Sport have contacted the parties to the dispute.
