Manchester City are to screen the Champions League final to up to 4,000 fans.
Earlier this month, Sportsmail revealed that the Premier League champions were considering a beam back of Saturday’s clash with Chelsea in Porto.
And now City will erect a number of super-sized screens at the club’s academy stadium – next to the Etihad – to allow supporters who could not get a ticket for the final to watch the action.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be backed by close to 6,000 fans in Portugal after selling out their tickets.
Opponents Chelsea sent back 800 of their allocation amidst complaints from fans over UEFA’s pricing structure. Tickets were priced in four categories at £60, £154.50, £386.50 and £515.
City’s owner Sheikh Mansour paid for flights for supporters on club day trips, while Chelsea supremo Roman Abramovich subsidised plane tickets, knocking the cost down to £200.

City legends will provide insight and analysis at the event. The fixture marks the club’s first visit to the final and officials want as many fans as possible to experience the game in what they hope will be an environment close to a matchday. Tickets will cost fans £5 and include complimentary drinks and snacks and a goody bag.
The club say social distancing measures will be adhered to at the venue, which also hosts City’s WSL side.
A capacity of 16,500 has been set at the Dragao Stadium, which usually seats 50,000.
