Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen will have girlfriend Sabrina Kvist Jensen by his side as he recovers from his horrific collapse against Finland at Euro 2020.
Eriksen, 29, went down without anyone around him in Copenhagen, and attempts to resuscitate the Inter Milan player lasted for several minutes.
As the stricken star received medical attention, Eriksen’s concerned girlfriend, Jensen, could be seen making her way down from the stands towards the side of the pitch.
Wearing a replica t-shirt, she was consoled by a number of her boyfriend’s team-mates, including captain Simon Kjaer and Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Jensen and Eriksen have been together since 2012 and will celebrate their ninth anniversary in August. Their son, Alfred Eriksen, was born in 2018.
While the ex-Tottenham star captures the headlines playing for Inter Milan in Serie A, his girlfriend tends to prefer a lower profile.
Born in the tiny Danish town of Tommerup, which has a population of just 1,567, Jensen moved to London with Eriksen some time after the star signed for Spurs.
The couple bought a house in Hampstead in 2016, according to The Sun, just as Eriksen was bursting onto the scene as one of Europe’s most exciting midfielders.
During her time in the UK, Jenson reportedly worked at a clothing company, while her Instagram account has a link to Danish charity Fodboldfonden.
Sabrina gave birth to her first child with Eriksen in 2018, welcoming Alfred into the world.
Eriksen announced the pregnancy news to his 1.5m Instagram followers, posting: "“Mum & Dad to be ❤️ #proud #2018” – in December 2017.
He was also granted leave from the 2018 World Cup to travel back for the birth.
The couple had a second child in 2020 as Eriksen's Tottenham career fizzled out.
Sabrina will be by her boyfriend’s side every step of the way as he begins his recovery from his shocking collapse in Copenhagen.
The match between Denmark and Finland was temporarily suspended following Eriksen’s collapse and subsequent hospital transfer.
But after being stabilised in hospital, the stricken star reportedly gave the go-ahead for play to continue, with Finland running out 1-0 winners in the Group B clash.
Eriksen is said to be responsive in hospital and has spoken to his team-mates on FaceTime.
