Chelsea’s XI of Todd Boehly signings is worth £703m and could win Prem title
Todd Boehly’s most-expensive Chelsea XI made up of players he has brought to the club is worth a staggering £703million and that’s not even including the substitutes that would be available. The American’s spending spree is now approaching the £1billion mark since he arrived at the club in May 2022 and on the basis of this summer’s transfer business, it’s showing no signs of slowing down either.
So what would a Chelsea XI look like based on players that have joined the club from the Boehly era? Well it’s actually very strong.
New No.1 goalkeeper Robert Sanchez would be between the sticks following this £25m switch from Brighton.
The Spaniard impressed on Sunday in the Premier League opener against Liverpool following Kepa Arrizabalaga’s loan switch to Real Madrid.
At right-back is Malo Gusto, the former Lyon starlet who will provide cover and competition for Reece James this season. He cost the Blues £31m in January.

At centre-back we have two Frenchman in Axel Disasi (£38m) and Wesley Fofana (£75m).
Starting at left-back is arguably one of the biggest flops of the Boehly era in Marc Cucurella following his £62m switch from Brighton in the 2022.
There are no surprises on the star names in midfield with Moises Caicedo (£115m) and Enzo Fernandez (£108m) partnering each other as two No.8s.
Fernandez was initially the most expensive deal in British history before Caicedo snubbed Liverpool for the Blues within the past week.

Romeo Lavia is also set to join Chelsea for £58m from Southampton in the coming days.
Then in attack we have the likes of Raheem Sterling at £47.5m and Mykhalylo Mudryk who cost a whopping £88m from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Injured forward Christopher Nkunku completes the side following his £56m switch from RB Leipzig that was completed earlier in the summer.
That’s a total of £703m altogether and that’s without including the likes of Nicolas Jackson and Michael Olise, who is due to arrive from Crystal Palace in due course.
The likes of Carney Chukwuemeka (£20m), Benoit Badiashile (£35m), Lesley Ugochukwu (£23) and Noni Madueke (£35m) can also make the bench.
Boehly’s total spend will reach £964.8m once Lavia joins the club and his move is expected to be completed in the coming days.
The Belgian – much like Caicedo – picked the Blues over Liverpool after deciding to leave Southampton.
There are now huge foundations for Mauricio Pochettino to build on at Chelsea and there is hope the Argentine can now seal the club’s return to the Champions League following their inability to secure European football last season.
