Chelsea’s Erling Haaland bid ‘imminent’, interest in Pjanic and Kimpembe
After winning the Champions League, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are looking to get even better and challenge for domestic glory.
The Stamford Bridge club were competitive against the top sides last season and they have an elite coach in Tuchel, giving them the belief they can challenge on all fronts next season.
They spent over £230m last summer on players like Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell and could open their chequebooks again this year to build on that.
The Blues are keen on brining another forward, while some like Tammy Abraham may leave.
Daily Star Sport has taken a look at Chelsea’s latest transfer news below.
Chelsea may sign Pjanic
With Billy Gilmour having gone on loan to Norwich City, Chelsea have a spot open for a midfielder and Barcelona ’s Miralem Pjanic is a target.
According to football.london, Chelsea may looking to pull off a deal for the 31-year-old, who has rarely played for the Spanish club since moving last year.
Barcelona are open to selling players to balance the books after a few years of financial difficulty, and a deal may be easy to complete.
Haaland bid imminent
Chelsea are set to make a bid for Borussia Dortmund ’s Norwegian forward Erling Haaland, according to journalist Andreas Korssund.
The Blues are interested in bringing a forward to Stamford Bridge and along with Romelu Lukaku, Haaland is one of the main targets.
TalkSport also report similarly, saying that Chelsea should be able to complete a “mind-boggling” transfer.

Kimpembe interest
According to L’Equipe, Presnel Kimpembe’s place in the Paris Saint-Germain team is uncertain due to the signing of Sergio Ramos and there may be interest in him elsewhere.
Chelsea could take advantage of the situation and make a move for the French defender, who paired up with Marquinhos last season but may not any more.
Kimpembe has previous experience with one Chelsea defender: Thiago Silva, who played at the French capital himself before moving to London.
