Chelsea vs Wolves live stream: How to watch Premier League fixture online and on TV tonight

Chelsea are at home to Wolves this evening in the west London club’s first fixture since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival.

Tuchel was confirmed as Chelsea’s new manager last night, just a day after Frank Lampard was fired, and – having led training yesterday evening – the ex-PSG and Borussia Dortmund boss will be present tonight.

Chelsea will be out to bounce back following their 2-0 league loss against Leicester in their most recent showing in the top flight, with a 3-1 FA Cup victory over Luton Town on Sunday neither enough to save Lampard nor to suggest to supporters that performances are on the up.

The Blues’ recent form has them in a mid-table position, while Wolves enter the match 10 points clear of the relegation zone, having failed to win a top-flight game in their last six efforts.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Premier League meeting.

When is it?

The game will kick off at 6pm GMT tonight at Stamford Bridge.

How can I watch it?

The match will air live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. Subscribers can also stream it live on the BT Sport website and app.

What is the team news?

The only player to be unavailable to Tuchel through injury is midfielder N’Golo Kante. Otherwise, the German will have a fit squad from which to pick his starting XI, which could well feature compatriots Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.

Wolves could hand an immediate debut to loan signing Willian Jose, while coach Nuno Espirito Santo will be without Jonny Otto, Daniel Podence and Marcal. The timeline on Raul Jimenez’s return to the pitch is still unclear.

Predicted line-ups

Chelsea: Mendy; James, Zouma, Silva, Chilwell; Kovacic, Mount, Havertz; Ziyech, Abraham, Hudson-Odoi

Wolves: Patricio; Semedo, Coady, Boly, Saiss; Neves, Moutinho, Dendoncker; Traore, Jose, Neto

Odds

Chelsea: 3/5

Draw: 16/5

Wolves: 17/4

Prediction

Wolves would normally be one of the last sides a newly-arrived manager would want to face, but their poor form might just give Tuchel a platform to get off to a winning start in west London. Chelsea 1-0 Wolves.
