Chelsea transfer round-up as Blues dealt Donnarumma blow and Pulisic warning
Chelsea showed off their strength and depth as they swept Morecambe aside to reach the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.
Youngsters Billy Gilmour and Callum Hudson-Odoi were handed starts, while Emerson Palmieri and Kepa Arrizabalaga featured despite their quiet first halves to the season.
Left-back Emerson remains linked with a Stamford Bridge exit and numerous clubs from Serie A are believed to be monitoring the situation.
Elsewhere, long-term Chelsea target Gianluigi Donnarumma is facing a crunch decision ahead of his contract's expiry with AC Milan.
And while Chelsea got the job done with ease against Morecambe, there are concerns about the club's alleged misuse of star forward Christian Pulisic.
Here is Monday's Chelsea transfer round-up.
Donnarumma blow
AC Milan's sporting director is "confident" Gianluigi Donnarumma will pen a new deal with the club, in news which will come as a blow to Chelsea.
Donnarumma's current contract expires this summer, giving rise to speculation he could depart San Siro.
Chelsea have been linked with the 21-year-old, who has already racked up 22 caps for Italy.
But Milan chief Frederic Massara is hopeful both Donnarumma and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will extend their stays with the Serie A giants.
He told DAZN: "We’re confident to reach an agreement with Donnarumma and Calhanoglu in order to extend their contracts in the next weeks."

Chelsea warned over Pulisic
Former United States defender Alexi Lalas claimed his fellow American Christian Pulisic is "being wasted" by Chelsea as he blasted the Blues' transfer business last summer.
Lalas – who made 96 appearances for his country – was speaking on his State of the Union podcast after Chelsea were comprehensively beaten at home by Manchester City.
He said: "Here’s the problem. The way we’re talking about this performance [against Man City] from Christian Pulisic is of a player who shines despite the fact that he is not playing with the best players, or is playing against vastly superior opposition and still being able to show.
“This is Chelsea with all the talent they have and all the money they have spent.
"I’ll say it right now, Christian Pulisic is too good for this Chelsea team. His talents are being wasted right now at Chelsea, with this Chelsea team that they have.”

"No offers" for Emerson
No clubs have tabled offers for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri, according to the player's agent.
Emerson fell down the defensive pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the £45million arrival of Ben Chilwell last summer, and he has started only a handful of games this season.
Serie A trio Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan are believed to be keen on the player, but agent Fernando Garcia claims no one has submitted an offer for his client as of yet.
“It’s difficult to say anything at the moment,” he told Inside Futbol. “There have been no official offers. I’ve not had any offers to find out [if Chelsea will sell].
“There have only been enquiries. I will not speak about the clubs [involved].”
