Chelsea suffer Haaland transfer blow while Tuchel readies himself for bids
Chelsea finally made their first signing of the summer on Wednesday Blues boss Thomas Tuchel bringing in Marcus Bettinelli – and the German hopes to add to that addition in the coming days and weeks.
Chelsea are Champions League champions but finished 19 points behind Premier League winners Manchester City.
Domestic success is wanted by plenty in west London though it's only been players leaving Stamford Bridge so far this summer.
Fikayo Tomori, Victor Moses, and Olivier Giroud have all left permanently while Billy Gilmour will spend the season on loan at Norwich.
There's plenty of rumours coming out of Chelsea though with Daily Star Sport rounding up the best bits…
Haaland transfer blow
Chelsea have been linked with a summer transfer for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, though a deal now seems further away than ever.
Haaland has three years left on his Dortmund contract and a huge transfer fee would need to be placed to even be considered.
Dortmund have spoken with Haaland's agent Mino Raiola with head of first team football Sebastian Kehl saying: “Will Haaland stay this summer? Yes.
"In the discussions with Raiola for Malen, I did not have the feeling we have to meet again about Haaland. We don’t want to give him up.”

Kounde talks
Jules Kounde is another that has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
The Sevilla star is reportedly wanted by Chelsea with ESPN claiming the two clubs have entered talks over a transfer.
It's reported a deal could be worth around €70 million — €10m less than Kounde's buyout clause.
Blues ready for bids
Chelsea are reportedly ready to consider any offers that come in for striker Tammy Abraham this summer.
The forward made just seven appearances after Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge in January.
And Sky Sports report the Blues are ready to consider offers for Abraham, who has a contract in west London until 2023.
Arsenal, West Ham, and Aston Villa have all been linked with a move for the England striker.
