Chelsea stars ‘worried’ by Graham Potter axing after finding out on social media
Chelsea players have been reportedly left worried by the sacking of Graham Potter.
The west London side took the decision to axe the Englishman with a 2-0 loss at home to Aston Villa being the final nail in the coffin of the ex-Brighton coach's six-month tenure in the capital. Now, it appears that those at the club are concerned about Todd Boehly's style, similar to that of former owner and Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Potter's staff, along with Bruno Salter who will temporarily take charge of the club, have stayed on ahead of their game against Liverpool on Tuesday. According to The Telegraph, "stunned and worried" players were quick to contact their agents on Sunday evening when they found out the news that the 47-year-old had overstayed his welcome through the club's official statement.

It has also been revealed by a report in The Athletic that Boehly and co. may have been able to get out of paying a mammoth sum to the departing coach after rounds of negotiating on Sunday afternoon.
The hunt is now on for the club's hierarchy to secure a third permanent manager of the season, with just 10 league games remaining to secure European football at Stamford Bridge for next season.
Julian Nagelsmann immediately became the bookies' favourite following his sacking at Bayern Munich which saw ex-Blues boss Thomas Tuchel return to Germany to take charge of the Bavarian giants.
