Chelsea star Jorginho jokes with Blues transfer target Insigne on Italy duty

Chelsea playmaker Jorginho took to Instagram to share a few videos of him joking around with Blues transfer target Lorenzo Insigne.

The duo are currently on international duty with the Azzurri, who are preparing for their Nations League semi-final clash against Spain on Wednesday evening after winning the Euros earlier this year.

Joining the two former Napoli teammates in the dressing room was Emerson Palmieri, another former teammate of Jorginho’s with Chelsea who took part in yesterday’s post-training session jokes.

The videos shows Insigne and Emerson laughing hysterically as the Champions League-winning midfielder uses a face filter which shows them with gigantic noses.

And their dressing room laughs could yet extend beyond international duty, the Napoli legend having been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with his contract set to expire at the end of this season.

Insigne has spent his entire 11-year career at Napoli with the exception of a few loan spells away, coming through the academy to captain the side and play over 400 games.

He scored 19 goals across all competitions last campaign and capped it off with a sensational Euro 2020 display, bagging goals against Turkey and Belgium on his way to lifting the trophy.

And now the winger is believed to want a pay-rise at Napoli, though the club are only willing to offer him a pay-cut in order to balance their books.

That could see Chelsea swoop in and sign the player on a free transfer, but they are expected to face strong competition for the 30-year-old.

London rivals Tottenham and Inter Milan are among those having been linked with a move for the player at the end of the season.
