Chelsea star Ben Chilwell was spotted taking a break from his injury rehab, as he watched the LA Lakers defeat the LA Clippers on Wednesday night.
Chilwell, 26, has been out of action with a hamstring injury and recently travelled LA as part of his injury rehabilitation programme.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that the defender needed a ‘change in scenario’ in order to boost his recovery and it’s safe to say he’s found that.
On Wednesday, the defender was seen courtside at the Crypto.com Arena as the LA Lakers took on the LA Clippers in a fiercely contested game.
The 26-year-old, pictured with a friend, wore a casual outfit – a Beavis and Butt-Head inspired T-shirt and a pair of jeans – as he watched on from the sidelines.

Chilwell also took to Instagram to share a video from courtside and showed the Lakers on the attack.
On the night, the Lakers took their record to 3-2 for the season after recording a 130-125 win over the Clippers after overtime.
NBA legend Lebron James put up 35 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists as the hosts recorded the narrow win over their city-rivals.
It was enough to earn his team the win, despite the best efforts of Kawhi Leonard who recorded 38 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Chilwell has been staying in Los Angeles as he steps up his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained in September.
Pochettino revealed that a change of scene was always part of ‘the plan’ as the full-back rehabs a hamstring injury that is set to keep him out until December.
‘The plan was to change the scenario for him,’ Pochettino added.
‘That happens in different clubs. When it’s a long period of recovery, sometimes we change the scenarios for them.
‘Twelve hours here every day, it’s a fantastic training ground, but sometimes the player needs to change the atmosphere and the scenario to keep their recovery in a good way. It’s still difficult to know when he will be back.’
