Chelsea ‘plan to offer Lukaku to Spurs in audacious move to land Harry Kane’
Chelsea are reportedly planning a move for Harry Kane with an audacious deal which will see Romelu Lukaku go the opposite way.
The Blues are eager to solve their striker crisis by signing the Tottenham Hotspur talisman. New head coach Graham Potter is understood to be a huge fan of Kane and is eager to add him to his offensive arsenal for next season.
And Calciomercato now report Chelsea are preparing to offer cash-plus-Lukaku in an attempt to secure the England captain. It would of course see the Belgian forward be reunited with Spurs boss Antonio Conte, who he won the Scudetto under in 2020/21.

Lukaku cut a frustrated figure at Stamford Bridge for the duration of last season despite joining for a whopping £97.5million. He finally got his wish in the form of a loan move back to Inter in the summer, but has failed to recapture his old form in Italy having scored just one goal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to struggle up front despite buying Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona on deadline day. And with Kane still yet to win a trophy throughout his Tottenham career, the Englishman is expected to pursue a move away next summer.

However, Chelsea are expected to face tough competition from German giants Bayern Munich for Kane’s signature. Spurs are more inclined to sell to a club abroad than their London rivals while the Bavarian club are expected to go all out to secure his signature next year.
Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed earlier this month that discussions have already begun, saying: “There was definitely contact between Bayern and Charlie Kane [Kane’s brother and agent]. Harry Kane can really, really imagine joining Bayern.”
