Chelsea name Christian Pulisic price to AC Milan after raising £191m from exits
Chelsea have revealed how much Christian Pulisic will cost AC Milan following another chaotic transfer window. The Blues have already been busy and sold a number of players to counteract the club’s recent staggering spending sprees.
Chelsea, under new owner Todd Boehly, have splashed the cash in an attempt to regain their place as one of Europes most elite sides. An eye-watering £585million has been splurdged on 16 new players in two transfer windows since former owner Roman Abramovich was forced to sell the club.
The likes of Leicester defender Wesley Fofana cost £72million and Brighton full-back Marc Cucurella managed to go for a surprising £58million. However, neither come close to the record-breaking £107million splashed on Argentina’s Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.
In an attempt to recoup some of the lost funds Chelsea are now in a position where they need to sell. The bloated squad is in the process of a reshuffle and five first-team regulars have already been sold on.
While N’Golo Kante joined Saudi-Arabian side Al-Ittihad on a free, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy left to join the same league for a combined £46 million. Those moves were closely followed by Mateo Kovacic, who joined Manchester City for a deal that could be worth up to £30 million, and Kai Havertz’s move to Arsenal for £65 million.
The latest departure is set to be Mason Mount to Manchester United for £60 million which will certainly help to balance the books. However, the Blues aren’t done yet.
USMNT forward Christian Pulisic is also looking for an exit following a lack of game-time. The 24-year-old only only managed to earn a handful of minutes towards the end of the season with most of his appearances coming late in the game off the bench.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are looking to welcome Pulisic to Serie A and would be willing to make a bid of £13million. Chelsea see their player as being worth at least £17million, however, a far cry from the £55million he was bought for from Borussia Dortmund.
The American enjoyed an inconsistent time in West London, managing only 26 goals and 21 assists in 145 appearances. The move wasn’t all doom and gloom with the Pennsylvania-born forward also collecting a Champions Leauge winners medal for his troubles.
Pulisic fell out-of-favour under former Blues manager Graham Potter who opted to play Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Hakim Ziyech and Raheem Sterling instead on the wings. The move will be one that both AC Milan and Pulisic will hope to be fruitful with plenty of years still left in the American’s tank.
