Chelsea’s success in the Premier League Summer Series has left their fans excited for the upcoming season – while some couldn’t resist a dig at rivals Tottenham.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side triumphed in the inaugural edition of the tournament, which included games being played in five venues across the United States.
Chelsea finished top of the table with seven points following two wins and a draw, while Aston Villa were in second place with five points as they finished above Newcastle on goal difference.
Brighton ended up fourth, with Fulham in fifth and Brentford, who only got one point, finishing bottom.
Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 in their first game and then drew 1-1 against Newcastle.
