Chelsea fans have demanded Todd Boehly sacks Graham Potter after they were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa.

The Blues slipped to defeat at Stamford Bridge with Ollie Watkins and John McGinn grabbing the goals for the visitors. It's a result which leaves them languishing in 11th in the Premier League table with just 10 games to go.

And it's the final straw for countless angry supporters who have called for Potter's axing in their droves. Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Graham Potter has to go tonight. Do the right thing, @todd_boehly."

"Straight after full-time, @todd_boehly," added a second, while a third fumed: "Get Potter out of my club absolutely sick of it useless p**** him."

A fourth sarcastically asked mid-way through the match: "Can you substitute Potter?" And a fifth raged: "SACK THIS CLOWN!"

"I said it. I’m done saying. Potter is not a good fit for #CFC," argued a sixth. A seventh joked: "Boehly is 100% an opp if he isn’t ringing Potter’s phone at full-time telling him there’s police to escort him out the club."

Others commented "sack him tonight" and "sack Potter in the tunnel" as they let their anger out online. The Chelsea fans inside the ground also expressed their feelings by booing off the team after the final whistle.

While Potter took the brunt of he criticism, Chelsea had 27 shots without finding the back of the net and accumulated an xG of 2.28. They also finished the match having had 69% of possession.

But the only stat that matters is the scoreline, with Villa leapfrogging them in the table. Next up is Liverpool at home on Tuesday (April 4), and it remains to be seen if Potter will be in the dugout or not.
