Chelsea are ready to say goodbye to several members of their playing squad before the new Premier League season – which will free up funds for incoming deals.
While Thiago Silva, Thomas Tuchel and Olivier Giroud have already been handed new contracts, Willy Caballero, Marco van Ginkel, Victor Moses and Izzy Brown are among those to depart.
Additionally, Fikayo Tomori and Hakim Ziyech have been linked with Stamford Bridge departures, with Roman Abramovich likely to reward his manager by strengthening his squad.
With the focus of many stars now turning to Euro 2020 and Copa America action, Daily Star Sport have rounded up the three biggest Chelsea transfer stories of the day.
Better call Saul
Chelsea are said to be 'eyeing a move' for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with Tuchel looking to boost his options in midfield before the new season.
Having also been linked to Liverpool, the Spain international won the title under Diego Simeone this season and could now eye a fresh challenge in England.
Spanish outlet AS report that PSG are also in the race for his signature, despite the 26-year-old being under contract until the summer of 2026 in Madrid.
Tomori nears exit
Football.London report that Tomori will join AC Milan following the end of his loan.
The 23-year-old is not in the plans of Tuchel as he was under Frank Lampard, and has a £25million release clause in his contract following terms of the initial loan.
He said in March: "I want to continue doing what I am doing, playing for the team and for my teammates. We'll see what happens in the future."
Adding: "I still need to adapt to certain things, I was worried about the language barrier, but there are players who speak English and I am trying to learn Italian, even if it's difficult."
Giroud exit hint
Although the club have extended the contract of Giroud by a further year, he is open to leaving the club after his time playing for France at Euro 2020 comes to an end.
He told the RTL YouTube channel: "Ibrahimovic wants me at AC Milan? It’s always a pleasure to hear Zlatan say this kind of things, I’ll take it as an extra motivation.
"My future? I don’t want to talk about it, Milan is certainly an option among other ones."
