Chelsea could offer any of four players to Inter Milan to seal Hakimi deal

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for in-demand Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi.

The full-back played a key part in Inter's Serie A title win last season and he is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter are struggling financially and need to raise around £70m from player sales in order to balance their books.

Sky Italia have claimed that talks with Chelsea 'could be more fruitful' than those with PSG, given that the Blues are willing to offer a player-plus-cash deal.

The report states that the Blues would be willing to include 'one or more' players in the deal, Emerson Palmieri mentioned as one potential makeweight.

Now, according to a report from II Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea would be willing to include another player in the deal, with Davide Zappacosta, Mateo Kovacic and Tammy Abraham all named.

Hakimi has previously said that one of the main reasons why he joined Inter was coach Antonio Conte.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport magazine Sportweek back in May, Hakimi outlined how Conte persuaded him to join Inter.

"I was convinced by the ambition of the project at this club and Conte's words in our first phone call," Hakimi said.

"He called to ask what I wanted from my future, then explained how we would play and my decisive role in his aggressive style of football, as the fifth man between defence and midfield. Then, he said we would win.

"We talked a lot and, seeing how things went, I can say that I made the right choice. I knew that straight away."

However, Conte has since departed Inter, leaving the club by mutual consent last month, and that may well have an impact on Hakimi's future.
