Chelsea contact Ramos, discover Rice asking price and eye Maehle transfer
Chelsea are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as Thomas Tuchel sets about strengthening his current squad.
Tuchel got off to a flyer in his first half-season as Blues head coach, guiding the club to Champions League glory just four months after replacing sacked boss Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.
Now the German will be keen to bolster his squad this summer in order to mount a Premier League title challenge next season.
Plenty of incomings and outgoings are expected in west London, and Daily Star Sport are on hand with the latest Chelsea transfer news below.
Ramos contact made
Sergio Ramos is set to wave goodbye to Real Madrid upon the expiry of his contract this week, having failed to reach an agreement with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez.
And according to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, Chelsea have been in touch with the 35-year-old over a potential free move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are on the hunt for a new defender following Fikayo Tomori's permanent departure to AC Milan, with Ramos' soon to be ex-teammate Raphael Varane also understood to be on their radar.

Hammers name Rice price
Chelsea have long been linked with a move for ex-youth star Declan Rice, who has emerged from West Ham's academy and become a key member of their midfield since leaving Cobham.
Reports suggest the west London club remain interested in Rice this summer, but The Telegraph's Matt Law claims West Ham are demanding £100million for their star man.
Speaking on the London Is Blue podcast, Law revealed that the Hammers are not prepared to sell him for anything less than £100million, but Chelsea are only ready to offer £70million as things stand.
Maehle deal eyed
According to Tutto Atalanta, Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Atalanta defender Joakim Maehle following his impressive displays for Denmark at Euro 2020 this summer.
The Blues are reportedly eyeing up Maehle as an alternative to top target Achraf Hakimi, who is understood to be on the verge of joining Paris St-Germain.
Atalanta are not interested in selling him, nevertheless, and will only do so if a 'sensational offer' is made.
