Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel reportedly has several unhappy attacking players who he could seek to offload before the end of the transfer window. The Blues have a large squad that will likely be trimmed over the coming weeks.
Winger Christian Pulisic is rumoured to be of interest to other clubs. The USA captain is apparently one of a few forwards who feel they are limited in Tuchel’s system.
Pulisic has been linked with a loan switch to crisis club Manchester United. The 23-year-old has struggled for game time under Tuchel, despite having been in excellent form for Chelsea before the German was appointed.
But that is not the only reason that Pulisic has grown frustrated at Stamford Bridge. According to the Evening Standard, the former Borussia Dortmund man is one of ‘several’ forwards who feel their attacking talents are limited in Tuchel’s system.

Those players believe that a priority to have a solid defensive structure prevents them from being effective attackers. It is unclear who the other stars are, but several Chelsea forwards have been linked with departures this summer.
Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner have both left Stamford Bridge. Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on loan, while Werner also went back to the club from which Chelsea signed him – sealing a permanent exit to Red Bull Leipzig.
Pulisic could leave for Man Utd. The Athletic report that the player is open to joining the Red Devils despite their woeful start to the season.
A United fan as a child, Pulisic would be given a stronger guarantee of more game time than he receives at Chelsea. The Old Trafford outfit are scrambling for signings after two Premier League defeats and a loan for Pulisic could be easy to complete.

Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech have both been linked with other clubs. Hudson-Odoi has interest from the likes of Newcastle, Southampton and Leicester. The 21-year-old was initially scheduled to take part in Chelsea U21s’ Premier League 2 clash with Fulham earlier this week, but he was pulled out of the squad as interest in a loan mounts.
Ziyech, like Pulisic, has been linked with United. The Moroccan played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax.
Several departures could give Tuchel a major problem if players continue to harbour doubts over how they fit into the 48-year-old’s tactical structure. He could be forced to sign another couple of players who better fit into his system.
Everton forward Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move, but the Toffees do not want to sell the England U21 international. It would take a bid much higher than Chelsea’s current proposal of £45m to bring Everton to the negotiation table.
