Cesc Fabregas has insisted that Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is ‘too much of a good guy’ and needs to be ‘more of a b*****d’.
The Denmark international joined the Blues’ youth set-up in 2012 and has gone on to make 150 appearances for the first team.
But the 25-year-old is one of three defenders Thomas Tuchel faces losing in summer, along with Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Christensen is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in June, and will be available for free in the summer unless he agrees terms on a new deal.
Fabregas played alongside the defender during his five-year stint at Chelsea and the Spaniard recently praised Christensen’s talent amid links to Barcelona, but offered him one piece of advice.
‘Christensen is being linked to Barca, and I can tell you he’s a great player,’ Fabregas said in an interview with Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on his Twitch show Jijantes.

‘He is fast, strong, great with the ball, agile, positions himself well.
‘When I first arrived at Chelsea, he was a youngster training with the first team, and I was already surprised.
‘The only thing that I would tell Christensen to try and improve on is that he’s too much of a good guy sometimes. He has to be more of a b*****d, you know.
‘I see that in Eric [Garcia] too. They’re good guys, and you can’t be like that in football these days.’

Barcelona were reported to be hoping to reach pre-contract agreements with Chelsea duo Azpilicueta and Christensen last week.
Jordi Cruyff, Barcelona’s international director of football, revealed that Barcelona have already started identifying transfer targets for the off-season, and the two Chelsea defenders appear to be on their radar.
It has been claimed that he would prefer a move to the Nou Camp, and Barcelona are currently waiting for a response from the 25-year-old to the proposal that they have made to him.
