Casemiro’s stance on Man Utd exit explained
Casemiro lifts the lid on teammates
Danilo has admitted he’d love to see Casemiro join Juventus. However, fortunately for Manchester United, the midfielder has no plans to leave Old Trafford any time soon. The Samba star has flourished ever since swapping Real Madrid for the Premier League back in the summer, emerging as a key player for Erik ten Hag in the process.
Speaking recently, Danilo hailed Casemiro and admitted he’d love to see his compatriot move to Juventus.
“The perception of Brazilian footballers has changed and so where there was once a clash with Juve, all of these players could come here and be in the team for years,” he said.
“I’d love to have Casemiro. He’d be at home here.”
But Casemiro is happy at United, despite having some disciplinary issues with two red cards since the turn of the year.
The veteran’s agent, Oscar Ribot, has hammered home how settled his client is – while also insisting he remains committed to the cause.
Man Utd takeover: Man Utd making plans for five players
“Taking football away from Case is like taking food from his table, it’s like he can’t live, can’t breathe,” said Ribot.
“He wakes up thinking about football and goes to bed thinking about football.
“He watches hundreds of games: Any team, any league. I’ve seen him watch Chinese games because there is always some detail.
“He says he won’t be a coach, but he will. He’s already one in a footballer’s body.
“This month, he’s watched everything, calculating the points needed and the days left.”

He added: “Case has signed for four years plus one.
“He’s come to win titles; this month has been hard, but there’s nothing else on his mind.”
Casemiro, too, has been happy to open up on his state of mind and has regularly made it clear what he thinks about life in England.
Back in January, he stated: “I’m happy with my adaptation here, my team-mates and the staff are really helping me… also with the English language, it’s been quite hard but I’m really trying to get better.
“Everyone here has been lovely with me and since the first day I feel at home here.

“I appreciate all the effort that the club has done to bring me here, John (Murtough) included.
“I’m very comfortable at Manchester United, extremely happy to be here and enjoying every moment like a 15-year-old kid!
“But the most important is to see the team growing.”
And, back in November, ESPN reporter Natalie Gedra shed light on how Casemiro had instantly taken to life in his new surroundings.
“I actually spoke to Casemiro after the Chelsea match and he said to me that his adaptation couldn’t be better,” she said.
“He said that since the start, even if he wasn’t playing, the coaching staff was talking to him all the time, talking about the Premier League, talking about the team, making him feel comfortable and the club has been amazing to him, making him feel like a part of all this.
“He is settling in really well and he feels very comfortable on the pitch.
“I think the language is still something he is probably working on, but he definitely feels comfortable in terms of football and the people around him. He is very happy.”
She continued: “I was really surprised with how happy he is.
“There is nothing wrong with Manchester, absolutely nothing, but he was just so delighted.
“He was like, ‘you will not believe how happy I am here at Man United’ and after so many years in Madrid, to settle in so quickly is quite surprising.”
