Casemiro has been congratulated by his Manchester United team-mates after being named in the FIFPRO World 11.
As reported by Manchester United’s official website, Casemiro was one of those selected from a shortlist of 26 players.
The World 11, which is voted for by the players, takes into account performances from August 8 2021 to December 18 2022.
Casemiro received his award at the ceremony in Paris on Monday, and on Tuesday he posed for a picture with his team-mates at the club’s Carrington training ground.
The 31-year-old has made a tremendous impact for United since he joined from Real Madrid last year.

Casemiro helped Real Madrid to win the Champions League, LaLiga and the UEFA Super Cup last season.
The World 11 in full was: Thibaut Courtois, Achraf Hakimi, Virgil Van Dijk, Joao Cancelo, Luka Modric, Kevin De Bruyne, Casemiro, Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
Last weekend Casemiro helped United to end their wait for a trophy as he scored in the Carabao Cup final success against Newcastle at Wembley.

There is the opportunity for further glory for Erik ten Hag’s side this season – they take on West Ham at home on Wednesday in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
In addition, they are through to the Europa League round of 16, where they will take on Real Betis.
United also can’t be discounted in the Premier League title race, although they are currently eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
