Carragher left laughing after spotting flaw in Alan Shearer’s Haaland punditry
Jamie Carragher couldn't help but laugh at Alan Shearer’s punditry comments about Erling Haaland.
BBC pundit Shearer was analysing the Manchester City striker ahead of the FA Cup final clash against Manchester United on Saturday. The former target man rubbished talk among fans and pundits from earlier this season about how the Norwegian had struggled to fit into City’s system.
Shearer then talked about how the Premier League champions have improved in getting Haaland more involved in build-up play as the season has progressed, which in turn irked Sky Sports pundit Carragher.

Carragher appeared confused by the double standards in Shearer’s analysis, taking to Twitter to take aim at his fellow former England international and pundit.
“Alan Shearer just asked why people questioned the Haaland Man City fit in the first half of the season, he then showed analysis of Haaland not getting the ball early enough in the first half of the season, which was the reason why people questioned it,” Carragher tweeted along with some laughing face emojis.

The tension comes after Carragher himself suggested Haaland had perhaps made the wrong decision in joining City last summer, despite the 22-year-old scoring 52 goals in 51 appearances this season.
The Liveprool legend had said earlier this year: "I think we've only seen 60 per-cent of Erling Haaland.
"He might have picked the wrong club to actually get the best out of him."
Carragher later doubled down on his controversial view after City beat Liverpool 4-1 without Haaland back in April.
“So I was right, Man City are better without Haaland,” Carragher tweeted.
Haaland has since gone on to shut down all of his doubters by scoring the most goals in a single Premier League campaign.
And the Scandinavian goal-machine has played a vital role in edging his side closer towards a historic treble this season.
