Camila Cabello almost became poster girl to Crouch’s ‘Laout’ beer cocktail
Camila Cabello may not look back at her Champions League final appearance too fondly, but she did get to spend some time with everybody’s favourite target-man Peter Crouch.
The American singer songwriter was booed during her pre-match display preceding Real Madrid’s victory over Liverpool. She was so offended at the crowd’s reaction, she even hit out at the many spectators in the Stade de France in a now deleted tweet.
However, one set of supporters she did not chastise were the many dedicated listeners of the former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur ace’s podcast. And the always charming ex-striker even managed to convince Cabello to record a brief message promoting his 'Laout' cocktail, before the star's 'people' got involved.
“Funny you say that actually, because I have been spending some time with Camila Cabello,” the former England international said to ‘That Peter Crouch Podcast’. “I was at the Champions League final in Paris and I was able to spend ten minutes with Camila Cabello.
“I was able to speak to her about potentially advertising Laout. I got her to record a message. But this message is that I don’t think she really knew what she was doing.” ‘Laout’ is the infamous beer cocktail Crouch mentioned in one of his earlier episodes of the podcast.
Containing a lager of the consumer’s choice as well as a generous serving of stout beer poured over the back of a large spoon, Crouch’s famous ‘cocktail for beer lovers’ is even being brought to life by beer giants Brewdog.

And both Crouch and Brewdog were so close to obtaining the greatest piece of free publicity and advertisement, since a Starbucks cup was left on the table during a scene in the final series of Game of Thrones. “Her people came out afterwards and they were very stern with me about her not being associated with alcohol,” he continued.
Fortunately for Crouch, he did manage to obtain a video message recorded by Cabello – albeit one where any mention of ‘Laout’ is blurted out by ‘bleeps’.
“Hey guys it’s Camillo here, I am here with Crouch,” the US artist said in her video message. She then proceeded to say: “I am so happy that my UK fans will not be parched,” before the video gave way to a series of bleeps to block out any possible mention of 'Laout'.
“We had a very good rapport, and I think she felt she wanted to help me out,” Crouch added. “Fair play to her, she was a one take wonder.”
