If the move is completed, Hudson-Odoi will be reuinited with Sarri after the wo worked together at Chelsea.

Sarri coached Hudson-Odoi in the 2018/2019 season, and, despite the player being only 18 years old at the time, Sarri gave him 24 appearances in all competitions and he showed plenty of confidence in his abilities.

Hudson-Odoi has good tactical flexibility and is able to play on the left or right side of the attack, which was a key factor in attracting Sarri’s interest.
